THE CAPPUCCINO: PAR EXCELLENCE THE SYMBOL OF THE ITALIAN BREAKFAS
In Italy it’s the breakfast par excellence, in the foreign countries it is loved more than the coffee and it’s one of the most recognized symbols of the Italian property and quality of life.
Every day in Italy k 35.000.000 cups of espresso coffe are drunk at the Bar. About 1/5 of these 35.000.000 espressos are used to prepare cappuccino (7.000.000 of Cappuccino every day in Italy).
In Italy the ratio between the espresso and cappuccino prepared in the bar is one to five, in the foreign countries is 3/4 (three to four). It means that in the foreign countries on the amount of the prepared espresso, 3/4 are used for the Cappuccino.
To prepare the real Cappuccino is a work of art. Anyway it is a duty for the one preparing it and a right for the one drinking it.
